Licensing questions, answered
How does IDEA StatiCa licensing work?+
Licenses are online and account-based. A cloud license server is created for each customer, and you only need your email credentials to access the license from any device. Standard licenses allow up to 7 users per license product; enterprise licenses are unlimited.
Can I share the license with colleagues?+
Yes. All licenses consist of floating seats. You can switch devices, return the license to the pool, share it with colleagues, and work from the office, home, or on the road.
What is the difference between a subscription and a perpetual license?+
The perpetual license is a time-unlimited entitlement, with maintenance purchased on top and renewed annually for new versions and support. The subscription is time-limited and automatically includes maintenance, and can be extended or expanded with more seats as your needs grow.
Is the license limited to one country?+
Yes. Standard licenses can only be used in the country specified at purchase, usually the billing address country. Multinational usage is available with the Enterprise license.
How often is the software updated?+
There are two major product releases plus minor updates per year, bringing additional features and benefits. Maintenance gives you access to the current version and technical support from in-house specialists.
